The morning after our snow shoeing adventure was so dark and gloomy, I loved it. It was like a scene straight out of Twilight looking out the hotel windows; a bit different then the morning blizzard before. Unfortunately, our trip to Seward for sea kayaking did not work out due to high seas and violent weather, but we made the most of the day. We spent the day at a beautiful museum in Anchorage. It was four levels of art, rich local history and exhibits. There were moments of emotions for me, I was humbled to be a part of this experience, and even more humbled to view the world through the eyes of photographer's with deep passion for their native history. There was one exhibit in particular that was titled, "Kill the Indian, Save the Man." It was very powerful. Although our plans of kayaking didn't work out, I think at the end of the day we were meant to find our way to that museum. We ate a lovely spaghetti dinner together, and headed to bed early for an early morning workshop. I look forward to more experiences.
